Dinner for Six

What better way to get to know each other at Community than to have dinner together-three times.  Please look for the sign up sheet on the patio.  In September you will receive the names of two other couples.  You may plan your dinner any time that is convenient for your group.  Be as formal or as casual as you wish.  When you host-the other couples will bring dessert and salad.  If room allows, feel free to invite a third couple and have Dinner for Eight.  Many lasting friendships have resulted from this activity.  Please call the church office (760 739-1650) or Myrna Ansley (760 747-9703) with any questions.

CHURCH PICNICS

50+ LUNCHEON

Our wonderful 50+ Bible Study and Luncheon is held the second Thursday of each month. It begins at 11:00 AM with a Bible Study and is followed by a yummy lunch at 12:00 PM.  Sign up at the Information Center on the patio.

LADIES FELLOWSHIP LUNCH OUT

Join us on the third Friday of each month for fellowship and lunch.  Watch the eNews and monthly Newsletter for place and time.

  Ushers and Altar Guild Helpers Needed

Please contact the church office at (760) 739-1650 if you can assist as an usher or on the altar guild.  We need you, trained or untrained.  It’s easy to learn the procedures and we really need you!

REACHING OUT TO OTHERS…

You may have noticed our new “Welcome and Information” table on the patio each Sunday. We have moved the guest book and information packets there as well as stocking it with gifts for our first and second time visitors. If you bring a guest to church, please bring them out to sign the guest book and get their free gifts and If you notice someone new sitting in your area, (after introducing yourself to them) encourage them to visit our table or better yet, walk them out after service and introduce them to us!
