Children in Worship
Children are always welcome at worship, and we encourage parents to help their children participate in ways that are appropriate to their age levels. Every Sunday service contains a children's message. There are also children's bulletins available from the ushers or greeters, as well as "Busy Bags" filled with
interesting things to occupy little hands during the sermon. There is also an un-staffed "cry room" adjacent to the sanctuary from which you can view and listen to the service during those times when a child's behavior may be disruptive to the worship service.
Nursery
There is a professionally staffed nursery for all worship services. It is located in Room 1 of our preschool building. The nursery has a silent pager system to notify you if your little one needs you during service. Our nursery is fully supplied with diapers, wipes, snacks, toys, books, and videos. The nursery can be used for
the entire worship hour or just for those "fussy" times.
Sunday School 9:OOAM
The Mission Statement of our Sunday School is "To support families by teaching children the fundamental stories of faith and to follow God's command by training those children for discipleship." Our ministry program serves children of all ages. This begins with a Sunday School class for children from birth through
age two. Our other Sunday classes are also year-round and go through 12th grade. All children ages 3 through 4th grade are invited to participate in "Opening" with prayer, offering and songs. Children 5th grade and older go directly to their own Sunday School classes.
Children are given their own offering envelopes. These offerings are used to support a mission child from Ecuador and for local service projects selected by the children.
What is God Squad???
God Squad is our beginning youth group and it is made up of 3rd, 4th and 5th graders. They meet every Wednesday evening during the school year under the direction of Keith Simmons. The first 30 minutes is game time. Capture the Flag, kickball, and various other outside games are played. The next 30
minutes is dinnertime and brings God Squad and the Jr. High together. We ask that each youth bring $2.00 to cover dinner costs. The meal is also prepared by volunteers so if you would like to help out with dinner, please contact Jim Meyer. The final 30 minutes are spent in Bible study as this group of youth begins to learn about their place in
God's kingdom.
Again, this is a beginning youth group and is meant to give the youth the opportunity to see what youth group is like. They will have special events throughout the year, but their main focus is on that Wednesday night.

SUNDAY SCHOOL - Every Sunday morning from 9:00 - 9:45 a.m., in the preschool rooms. We begin our time with singing in the Sanctuary. Come and join us!
YOUTH NIGHT - Every Wednesday evening from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Our time will be spent playing some games, eating dinner and having a Biblical devotion. Please bring along $2.00 to
cover dinner costs.
