Organ Assistant Program
Has your child been wanting to get involved in music but has no instrumental experience? Introduce them to the organ and keyboard by allowing them to serve as an organ assistant! On a Sunday morning, they will be responsible for ringing the bells, pushing the organ buttons, pulling the stops, and turning pages to familiarize them with the organ and keyboard instruments. Children are asked to participate in a thirty-minute training before they are scheduled to volunteer about once per month on Sunday mornings. The program is open to children ages 8 through confirmation and is directed by Joyce Roberts.

"Music is an important part of the ministry of Community Lutheran Church, whether you are an active participant or one who supports us with your enthusiastic appreciation. The goal of our music program is to encourage as many people as possible to be part of our groups. You simply must have a love for music and want to praise our Lord. The ability to read music is not a necessity. Various supports are offered to make everyone feel like they are an accomplished participant. If you want to join in any of our programs, contact the director in charge or just come to a rehearsal and get ready to have a most rewarding musical experience." - Christine Vogelsang
