Community Lutheran strives to include as many people as possible
in the music programs. If you are at all interested in participating,
the best way to become involved is to show up for a rehearsal
.
Adult Choir
This group is open to adults and confirmed youth. It meets on
Wednesday evenings 7:00 from late August through
the end of May. The choir provides special Sunday morning music
twice a month. It also provides music for the Christmas and Ascension
concerts and for other special services.
Bell
Choir
Our four-octave hand bell and chime ensemble is for adults and
confirmed youth. The ringers meet for rehearsal on Sunday mornings
at 11:00 in the Library from late August through the end of May.
The hand bell choir contributes to the worship life twice a month.
They also ring in concerts at Christmas and on Ascension and for
other special services.
Children’s
Choir
Children age four through fifth grade are welcome. Rehearsal time
is on Wednesday afternoons during the confirmation class time
from September through May. The
choir sings twice a month at the church services and also for
special concerts at Christmas and the end of the year.
Special Music
Anyone with a special vocal or instrumental talent is welcome
to enhance our Sunday morning services and other special services.
Individuals and small groups often contribute during the year,
especially during the summer when our choirs are on break.
