Getting a Bible is the first step in a life of growing in God's Word. If you'd like to read the Bible or you're looking for an electronic Bible, you've come to the right place. Of course, participating in one of our many Bible studies will help you better understand the Bible, so we encourage you to join in studying with us!
Mobile Bible
If you have a mobile device, you can read the Bible wherever you go! Use this Bible wherever you are to read, quickly search for Scriptures, compare different translations, and more. About half of the participants in our young adult Bible study use a mobile Bible during our lessons. We recommend YouVersion Mobile as a good Bible for your phone. It's free is free and available for iPhone, iPad, Blackberry, Android, and Palm webOS.
Online Bible
There are plenty of free Bibles available online, but BibleGateway is one of the most reliable and easy to use. You can even read the Bible in hundreds of different translations and languages!
New Testaments and Bibles
If reading online isn't for you, please pick up a New Testament next time you are at Community Lutheran Church on a Sunday morning. You'll find them at the Information Booth for guests for free. If you are looking to purchase a good Bible translation with helpful study notes, we recommend The Lutheran Study Bible. You can also find The Lutheran Study Bible in large-print, leatherback, CD-Rom, and ebook editions.
