December 2011

We can sometimes fall into the temptation of becoming a scrooge, but there's plenty to be joyful for this Christmas. Whether you have an excellent singing voice or a terrible singing voice, let's raise our voices in celebration of the blessings of our Lord.

Are you excited about the Christmas parties you attended this weekend? The growing pile of gifts underneath your tree? How about all of the relatives flying in from out of town? Oh, yeah...and Jesus is coming! What are we focused on this Christmas, and how did Christ's birth impact us for all eternity?

Beauty for Ashes

Our culture is obsessed with beauty, but what truly makes us beautiful? Is it our looks, our actions, or something more? Discover how God can take any pain, hurt, or ashes in your life and transform it into something beautiful.

Sent

When we see an ambulance coming, we move out of the way, knowing that the paramedics are sent to bring healing and help to those in need. But how was Jesus sent to bring healing, and how are we sent as Christians?
