Sunday Morning Bible Class
Every Sunday morning in the Youth Room from 9:00-9:45 AM is our Bible Class. This is usually a topical study as we tackle an issue of the day with a Sciptural point of view. We have a variety of teachers for this time who are all commited to seeing our high school youth grow spiritually. Register here.
Youth Night
We currently have Youth Night on Sunday evenings from 6-8 PM in the Youth Room. Our evening usually envolves food and some time to catch up with friends from other high schools. We will have a short Bible study and some prayer time as we get ready for another week of school.
Monthly Events
Throughout the month we will get together for a special event. Sometimes it is a Sports Day over at Ryan Park where we play Wifflball, or Flag Football, or Soccer. It might be going to the movies or the beach. During the football season we always have an Action Movie Marathon, and a ski trip and Lock-In highlight the winter months. Senior Roast - June 10th beginning at 6 p.m. at Filippi's Pizza Grotto in downtown Escondido. Join us as we celebrate with our High School Seniors. Bring along some special pictures and stories to share.

Beach Day - Our first summer beach day will be Wednesday, June 20th at Oceanside Pier. We will meet down there around 10 am. If you need a ride, please let Jim know and plan on being at church at 9:15 that morning.
Teen Girls Ensemble
The Community Lutheran Teen Girls vocal ensemble is directod by Sabine Spencer for girls in Junior High and High school. We meet every Thursday from 5:30 to 7:00 PM in the choir room at Community Lutheran Church.
Servant Events
The highlight of our summers are our Servant Events. We usually ha
ve two events that we offer every year. The first event is a week long experience in San Francisco partnering with YouthWorks to help those in that city. The other event is a two week experience usually overseas. We have sent groups to China twice, Macedonia and Greece, and Puerto Rico. During the summer of 2012, we will be heading to Slovakia. There is a cost to these trips and we do a series of fundraisers throughout the year to help the families afford them.

National Youth Gathering
Every three years, the LC-MS hosts a National Youth Gathering. During the summer of 2013, we will head to San Antonio, Texas to be a part of this amazing event. This event has been one of the many highlights for our youth as they join over 25,000 youth from all over the world for this week-long event. All high school youth are encouraged to be a part of this event.
