to bring along $2.00 to cover dinner costs. Parents – We still

9:00 - 10:00 a.m.
in Room 11. This class is taught by

Confirmation – Confirmation
is for all 6th, 7th and 8th graders and meets from
4:00 - 5:30 p.m.
on Wednesday afternoons. The program for 2007-08 includes 6th graders receiving an Old and New Testament Bible overview from Vicar Bill Baker, 7th grade receive Doctrine from Pastor Vogelsang and the 8th graders are
learning how to apply their faith to real life situations from DCE

Youth Night – Every
Wednesday evening following Confirmation from
5:30 – 7:00 p.m.
in the youth room. We will be doing some type of physical activity, having dinner and then a short Bible study. Please bring along $2.00 for dinner costs. Parents, we still need some help for dinners so if you can assist us in this way, please contact Jim.
Monthly Fun Activities
– Every month we also do something that allows us to run around. It might be a game night or drive-in movie night church. It could be bowling or rock-climbing and we always have a great time at the winter lock-in playing broomball at Ice-O-Plex.

Sunday Morning Bible Class - Every Sunday morning from
9:00 - 10:00 a.m.
in the Youth Room (12).

Youth Nights
- We get together every Sunday night from
6-8 p.m.
This is a great time to reconnecting with friends, eat great snack food and have relevant Bible study. We will be using the NBC drama Friday Night Lights as our seg-way
into Bible Study.

Monthly Fun Activities
– Each month we will do some sort of fun activity that gets us out into the community. It might be a lock-in that takes us bowling and playing broomball. It might be paintball or rock climbing. We
also always have a ski trip during the winter months. Whatever it is, it will be fun because we are together.
Service Learning Events
– Every summer we attend a service learning experience in
San Francisco
. This coming summer, the group will be going August 3-10 and will be helping at a variety of service agencies in the downtown
San Francisco
area. There will also be a group meeting up with David and Kathleen Beccue in
Skopje
,
Macedonia
to exchange cultural understanding and share God's love there. That team will be gone July 5-17.
National Youth Gathering
– The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synond does a National Youth Gathering every three years. The next gatheing will be held during the summer months in 2010 in the city of
New Orleans
. This is always a highlight for the youth that attend.
